As you might already know, we are bigtime fans of the Live Blackjack games from Ezugi. And we can now share some interesting news with you. Ezugi added two new side bets to its Live Blackjack tables. Operators now have the option to choose between four side bets, with Perfect 11 and Ten20 being the latest additions.
The most popular side bets of Live Blackjack at Ezugi tables is now 21 + 3 and Perfect Pairs side bets you’ll also find on many land-based and online blackjack tables. However, to give its players even more choice, Ezugi has now doubled up on the side bets which are offered to players on many of its Live Blackjack tables. The availability of these side bets depends on where you play, as each operator chooses whether to can add them.
So, what are we talking about? Let’s take a look at the newly added side bets.
Perfect 11
This side bet pays out if the first two cards are a blackjack or add up to 11. If you hit a perfect blackjack from your first two cards, you win 5:1. If these cards add up to 11, you get paid at 10:1. The only exception is if the two cards that add up to 11 are suited, as in this case, you will get paid 21:1.
Ten20
If you place a Ten20 side bet at participating Ezugi live blackjack tables, you’re betting on your first two cards adding up to 10 or 20. The best payout is 22:1 if those two cards are a pair of 5s. However, you’ll also win 10:1 for two cards adding up to 10 and 3:1 if 20.
Background information
The man behind the introduction of these Ezugi side bets is Stephen Au-Yeung. This guy is known in the gambling industry for inventing new games. For example, Casino Hold’em and Unlimited Blackjack with Auto Splits, and dozens of new side bets. If you are interested in the magical game of poker, Au-Yeung was also quite successful in the UK poker scene.
